Posted by Judy Burrell.  If you're trying to save money in these uncertain economical times, but sure want a little get away vacation time once in a while, try Myrtle Beach, SC.  We went there over the Thanksgiving holiday and had a great time.  The Bay Watch Resort has oceanFRONT 1, 2 and 3 bedroom condos complete with a full kitchen.  We had a one bedroom condo that even included free hot breakfast every day, free internet, with an outstanding view of the Atlantic Ocean, all for only $80 per night.  There are not many vacation spots in the country where you can enjoy such a special view and amenities so reasonably.  It was nice having a condo with a full kitchen so we didn't have to go out for all of our meals.  What a savings!

Of course Myrtle Beach also has lots of fun things to do like over 100 golf courses, Vegas type shows, good shopping destinations and miles and miles of beautiful beaches.

So if you want to have a quick, inexpensive get away, try Myrtle Beach.  It was only 3 1/2 hours from Raleigh, Bay Watch Resort
