Celebrating Thirty Years in Real Estate

September 26, 2009 marked Tim Burrell's thirtieth year as a Realtor, so we celebrated with our clients and friends at the Falls River Club House.  Selling homes in Raleigh, North Carolina and the Triangle has been good to us, so we shared the joy.  

So, you start with a big cake and the internet, because our clients are tech savy, so email is the way to let them know.  

Anthony, Crystal, Bob and Linda decorated the whole room, brought music, added helium baloons and blew up a 7 foot tall RE/MAX baloon

Marilyn is amazing with kids, so they made their own prizes, then decorated bags to take them home.

Liz brought tail gating games for the adults.  Falls River has wonderful covered porches so we did not mind the rainy day.

We had a great group, clients from ages ago and people whose homes we just listed.  We had a trivia contest on our history, with a tie for the people present who had enjoyed our services the most times with three each.  We have investors who have bought and sold more, but you had to be present to win.

I enjoyed talking with old friends and new acquaintences at the party about all of the families we have worked with and helped. 

 We had some great stories about the wide range of things I have done to reach agreements and close sales.

Liz and Tim drew names from a gift bag to see who won the prizes.  Tim wanted to have a ringer so he could win the NetBook, but Judy would not let him.

Ana and Adolfo's family did very well, everyone won a prize.

Here are the winners, with prizes ranging from gift certificates, flash drives, restaurant certificates and lock boxes to a Samsung NetBook won by Kathy McShane.

The biggest winner is the guy in the middle, as Tim had a wonderful time sharing with his friends.
